MY NEW FRIENDSHIPS

Having taken part of this Comenius Programme is, for me, an unforgettable experience; not only for the things I have learnt but also for the wonderful people I had the chance to meet. They are not many, but ,no doubt, they are “the best”.

I will start with my Bulgarian mates (Galina, Bibi, Sara and Valery). For me, they are simply the best. They are the friends with whom we have always dreamt . They are nice, good-mannered, fun and really kind-hearted  people. When I went to Bulgaria, they really took good care of us, trying to make the most of our visit and at the same time they didn’t want us to miss our country. Only them could manage that because, as I said before, they are awesome!!!

I would like to mention the Polish students too, Agatha, Ada, Agnieszka and Patryck. I had a great time with them thanks to their wit an sense of humour.

I can’t tell much about the Estonians and the Turkish children, as I didn’t spend much time with them but I am sure that they are also fantastic.

I can tell for sure I will never forget a single thing of the wonderful moments we shared together, because this has been the best time in my life so far and I can assure you that it will be kept forever as one of my sweetest memories.

As the name of this project is “Europe is laughing”, just to end up, I would like to mention one of the best quotes by Oscar Wilde:”laughter is not a bad beginning for friendship. And it is far from being a bad ending”

MY NEW FRIENDSHIPS

The Comenius Project is thought as an exchange programme being its target the use of the English language. But, for me, it was more than that, it was a wonderful and unique experience.

I went to Estonia in April. It was a long long trip and we just spent  five days in that country, but it was worthy. . Anyone would have been  exhausted but I wasn’t. No matter how little I could rest or sleep, I always wanted more. I visited wonderful new places and a “fairy tale” city, but, above all, people, wonderful people who made me have the best times in my life. They helped me when I didn’t know what to do and hey took really good care of us, trying to get the most of our visit. They were really friendly and great great fun.

I had the chance of immersing myself in a new culture and being able to see it and enjoy it from the “inside”, not as a tourist. And I got much more confident in English.

When all the foreign students came to Spain, I met more people, but I didn’t get as fond of them as I am with the Estonian people.

My “girl”, Kaisa, was very grateful to me and we got very close, we even learnt words from each other’s languages.
